What’s an MMA Conditioning / MMA Boot Camp?
MMA requires physical strength in addition to knowledge across a variety of combat styles. The WildStyle MMA Boot Camp is a fun, fast-paced workout combining MMA skills with strength and endurance training. Whether your goal is to shed pounds, get stronger, improve performance and coordination, or teach your body to move new ways, this is the program for you!
What kind of equipment do I need?
Each session will combine MMA techniques along with strength and conditioning exercises. We recommend our members have boxing or MMA gloves, along with comfortable workout clothes. The WildStyle team can provide gloves for your complimentary first session.
Am I barefoot for the session?
Shoes are optional in this session. Because members will pivot and kick throughout the session, if using shoes, we encourage our members to ensure a comfortable, well-fitting pair. Helpful hint: Boxing, wrestling, kick boxing shoes or lightweight sneakers are all great options.
How long is each session?
Each WildStyle session is one hour, including a 10 minute optional cool-down period. These sessions are quite popular and fill up quickly, so be sure to reserve your spot in advance!
Is there sparring?
Although you will learn MMA skills, this session is not designed for sparring. WildStyle offers a separate curriculum-based kickboxing program where members can learn self-defense and fighting techniques with the opportunity to spar.
Our experience with this gym and team has been like no other! It was important that we find a gym that not only taught our 8 year old son the skills we were looking for, but more so that he would be led by role models that would help build his character. During one of my son’s sessions, I observed Coach Hussain firmly and patiently coaching a student who was acting up and disrupting the class, and constantly helping redirect him towards respectful responses. I saw him reach the students heart in a kind and loving manner, but also encouraging him with some tough love. I know it’s not easy to train and discipline 7-8 year old boys! Thanks, Coach Hussain, for your commitment to our little ones! This mama is grateful that you take the time to not only develop their kickboxing skills, but also their character. Thank you, Brandon and Maggie, for always greeting me with your warm hearts! We are so glad our son is surrounded by such a great team.
